Anti-Inflammatory Supplements: Which Is The Best One to Use?

There are a lot of natural anti-inflammatory supplements that have been manufactured on the market today. You may know that not every type of supplement is suitable for inflammation condition.

Based on our research, we found one that is good and works well for this particular condition. It is one of the best supplements  on today’s market that we ever know and can effectively reduce inflammation.

Inflammation and Diseases

Basically, inflammation is a normal and essential part of your body defense system. It is a natural way in which your body reacts to an infection, irritation or other injury.

So why do you need anti-inflammatory agents when inflammation is a good thing?

When it gets out of control, heightened or becomes chronic, it can cause harm to you.

For example, chronic inflammation can damage healthy areas in the body, like

  • joints (as in arthritis),
  • blood vessel walls (as in atherosclerosis),
  • lining cells of the gut (as in lactose and gluten intolerance),
  • pancreas (as in diabetes).

It can affect a part of your body like the nose, sinuses, lungs, skin or affect your body as a whole when it becomes serious and leads to diseases like

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Heart Disease
  • Diabetes
  • Psoriasis
  • Neurological conditions including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.

Some people are more genetically predisposed to developing these conditions and others are less likely to develop it.

Anti-Inflammatory Supplements Offer A Solution in Reducing Inflammation Naturally without NSAIDs and Steroids Preparations

anti inflammatory supplements | best anti inflammatory supplementsConventionally modern medicine attempts to counter chronic inflammation in the body by using drugs such as NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) and Steroid preparations. As you have all heard, it is absolutely true that both NSAIDs and Steroid preparations have innumerable side effects.

So how can you live with having inflammatory conditions and still escaping from these near-lethal side effects of anti-inflammatory drugs? This is where supplements that have the same uses come into the picture.

Of course, natural anti inflammation supplements that offer a solution to a wide range of many health problems and bring a lot of benefits to our general health and wellness will be much beneficial.

Systemic Enzyme - One of the Best Anti-Inflammatory Supplements that Often Get Recommended

How can systemic enzyme become one of the best supplements for inflammation?  Systemic enzyme is a natural formula composed of different kinds of enzymes that work throughout our body systemically. Its composition can consist of serrapeptase, protease, papain, bromelain, amylase, lipase, nattokinase, pancreatin, trypsin, and or chymotrypsin.

What makes it one of the best ones is because it is able to provide a good defense against different kinds of inflammation conditions due to strong anti-inflammatory properties that come from the enzymes.

Besides that, it has been found that this enzyme based supplement also offers a solution to a wide range of different diseases and disorders and brings a lot of health benefits to our health and wellness as well, such as fighting virus, dissolve fibrin, reducing fibroid, doing blood cleansing, balancing our immune systems, treating yeast overgrowth.

That’s why, it is often recommended and used by health care practitioners in many different countries around the world to reduce inflammation.

How This Particular Supplement Works in Reducing Inflammation?

The way it works is different from NSAIDs. When the inflammation occurs, an irritation will appear. This will make the body to create a protein chain called Circulating Immune Complex (CIC) as a response to it.

If you use Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs such as ibuprofen, aspirin, Vioxx, Celebrex to treat this particular condition, all those drugs will actually prevent our body to create that protein chain.

This is bad because some CICs are very vital to our life, such as those that keep the kidneys to function properly, and maintain the lining of the intestine.

On the contrary, what systemic enzymes do is the opposite. They can identify between the bad CICs from the good ones. This particular enzyme formula will get rid of the bad ones and keep the good ones.

Other than that, this enzyme formula also decreases the inflammation everywhere in our body. Finally, the pain will be decreased or even gone.

I’m a tennis instructor and afflicted with tennis elbow from time to time. The joints in my elbow become very sore and inflamed. It’s accompanied with a pain that radiates toward my wrist. My chiropractor suggested I try a systemic enzyme supplement and I believe it has been beneficial. I am not sure it helps prevent the problem, but when it happens, it definitely helps deal with the pain. Thanks for the tips on the other supplements to try as well!

Try Boswellia in capsules or in teas.

I’m not sure how effective Fish Oil is for dealing with inflammation, but it has so many other health benefits, people should strongly consider adding it to their health regime. These fish contain the miracle oil: salmon, tuna, mackerel, herring, lake trout and sardines. I take it to promote a healthy heart and brain, but as the author suggests, research shows may promote healthy joints as well. It’s available in pill form if you hate to eat fish!

Has anyone tried anti inflamatories for IBS. Another article I read suggested that an inflamed intestinal system is the cause of IBS>

  9. Marina on December 28th, 2011

Anti-inflammatory diet is great for IBS, but it’s not enough. You also need to figure out the source of inflammation and then avoid it, while you heal the gut.

I am suffering from chronic shoulder pain. My recent MRI showed I have bursitis and tendivitis and he is unable to do surgery. I also have 2 degenerative discs in my neck. I have been taking prescription Oxycontin but since they are being removed from drug stores in Ontario I am trying to ween myself off them and have had to depend on Advil, Tylenol, Aleve to help with the chronic pain. I would prefer an herbal solution since I already have a liver condition and don’t want to harm it any further. I take cold liver oil tablets once a day but wondering if you could recommend an herbal supplement that would help me.

Lynda above asks: “Has anyone tried anti inflamatories for IBS. Another article I read suggested that an inflamed intestinal system is the cause of IBS”

Inflammation is often caused by an auto-immune disease where the immune system is attacking the body’s healthy tissue. This is far more common than you think as it shows up in many forms that cause a array of inflammatory conditions all with a multitude of medical names even though it all goes back to one thing, auto-immune disease, but even that is not the root cause. Have your doctor check specifically for an auto-immune disease because otherwise it can take an average of 5 or more years of endless testing to finally address the true problem, it’s not by chance it takes them that long to diagnose, it’s just financially convenient that they don’t diagnose that on the first visit.

You do need the enzymes to quiet the inflammation because that inflammation will eventually kill you if it get’s bad enough. The cause for the auto immune disease stems back to toxins and heavy metals in the body. It’s something that can take years to complete in getting flushed out and is uncomfortable if you do not drink enough water or not enough laxatives to rapidly flush out the toxins you release. I suggest DMSA (not EDTA because EDTA flushes out all the minerals) and other heavy metal and toxin detoxification supplement found at your local health food stores.
